Hello! I am Jordan, a Secondary 4 student at Hillgrove Secondary School in Singapore, actively involved in the Robotics Club and serving as a Level Head, leading and mentoring juniors. I have participated in multiple competitions, such as the Ngee Ann Polytechnic's AeroBot Challenge 2023, MazeMaster 2023 and Hack AC 2024, demonstrating my teamwork and sensor integration skills.

Outside of school, I enjoy dabbling in coding and editing content for recreational and gaming videos, as well as creating ROBLOX games using Lua, showcasing my creative and wacky imagination. Additionally, I am passionate about fitness and health, regularly spending time at the gym and taking care of my diet. I also love playing physical sports such as Badminton and Volleyball with my family and peers.

About Me

I have had an early start at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. At the tender age of 4, I would go to Ngee Ann Polytechnic track and field to play and run around with my Father. It was truly a fun and memorable experience and the fresh beginning of my experience here in this school.

In Secondary 2, I struggled academically, scoring F9 in WA2, but by the end of the year, I improved to a C5. In Secondary 3 and 4, I achieved mostly A1 and A2 grades, particularly excelling in Maths, which was once my weakest subject. I am academically focused with an excellence mindset, always striving for the highest standards and believing there is always room for improvement.

As the Level Head of my Robotics CCA, I am responsible for guiding Secondary 2 and Secondary 3 students. I ensure a conducive environment by maintaining silence when necessary and assisting with coding and technical issues. I am responsible and have a strong desire to serve.

In Secondary 1, I was the director and scriptwriter for a World Water Day skit. In Secondary 2, I edited videos and created a collage for
The Singapore Association for the Deaf. I can strategize and plan projects effectively, and I have avid skills in video editing.

I may notice details that others might miss. This ability allows me to thoroughly analyse situations and make well-informed decisions. Additionally, I'm an independent thinker, which means I can approach problems creatively and come up with unique solutions without always needing input from others. These traits help me excel in both my academic and extracurricular activities.

Fitness: I am disciplined about taking care of my health, spending regular time at the gym as I am goal-oriented. Fitness is a significant part of my routine, and I enjoy setting and achieving new personal goals.

Coding: I have created several ROBLOX games using Lua, such as Interactive Obstacle courses, a survival game which has various types of challenges as well as a combat game, featuring multiple attack systems.

Sports: I enjoy playing badminton and volleyball to stay active and refreshed. These sports help me maintain my fitness and provide a fun way to engage with friends. I also aspire to learn Judo and Boxing in the future to broaden my skills and challenge myself further.

Health and Human Body: I am fascinated by topics related to health such as hormones and cells, and how diet impacts daily life and overall well-being. Understanding how the human body works and optimising health through proper nutrition and exercise is a growing interest of mine.

Cooking: I love experimenting with new recipes, adding more protein, nutrients, and fibre to meals, and thinking creatively. Cooking allows me to explore my creativity in the kitchen and ensures I maintain a balanced and healthy diet.

Content Creation and Video Editing: I have created tutorial videos on YouTube and gained over 200 subscribers. Although I paused due to school commitments, I enjoy being creative and sharing my expertise while making engaging videos for my audience. Content creation and video editing allow me to combine my technical skills with my creative ideas.
