Why Busines Studies?

I am keen on pursuing business studies at Ngee Ann Polytechnic because I want to deepen my knowledge in marketing, acquire skills necessary to run my own business, and gain the expertise to lead a group of passionate individuals. I believe that the curriculum and hands-on learning approach will provide me with a solid foundation in business strategies, and practical applications. This will not only equip me with the theoretical understanding of business operations but also the practical skills to manage resources efficiently, and make profits from my Fitness App , Collaborative platform and social media platforms. I am also eager to make my healthy F&B store idea a feasible one! I am excited about the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and to be part of a driven learning environment that encourages innovation and entrepreneurial spirit.

I am the Level Head for my school's Robotics CCA, where I led a team of 15 students to fourth place in NP's AeroBot challenge. This showcased my leadership and technical skills. I completed NP's 6-hour entrepreneurship course and submitted a business plan related to an healthy F&B startup. I also led a team at Aerobot Challenge, further developing my leadership abilities. As Class Vice-Chairman in Secondary 2, I initiated a sign language learning project to promote inclusivity. I edited a video montage for the Singapore Deaf Association, combining technical skills with community service. I marketed our Robotics CCA at school open houses, resulting in high sign-ups. I created a chatbot using Flowise and Gemma, gaining client leads. My YouTube channel showcases my digital marketing skills. I volunteered at Willing Hearts, packing food for the elderly and providing basic services. Following the EAE preview, I prototyped a collaborative platform for NP students to share problem statements, showcasing my ability to address real-world challenges.
